Birch Hill Farm produces top-quality Katahdin breeding stock for sale. Our flock possesses excellent genetics and conformation.

Our Katahdins are hardy, easy-care sheep with superior lambing skills. The Birch Hill Farm flock is Certified Scrapie free (SFCP), and is enrolled in the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP).

Rams

All rams come with NSIP information and excellent EPDs. They are pasture-raised on grasses in summer, and get organic hay grown on the farm in winter. Health and FMACHA information are available. All vaccinations are current.

2-year-old, proven, k-NSIP Genetically Balanced Trait Leader ram. A founder sire at Birch Hill Farm. Lambs excel for rapid early growth. Long-bodied with excellent muscling, he has a nice temperament and is easy to handle.

Mature 2-year-old ram. High reproductive efficiency pedigree. His dam weaned 15 lambs in 7 years without a loss. Good muscling with a long torso. He is an excellent shedder. Good temperament, gentle with the ewes.
